As of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST, Mercury is transiting Libra, not Pisces. The essay below is the meaning of this sign placement whenever it is active.
Mercury is transiting Pisces. This gochara mixes the planet's own nature with compassion, dream, and a thin skin to the world. Poetry and fog; write it down or it dissolves. Combust or mixed with the Sun needs extra care. Film, mantra, languages of the heart, a mind that dreams in useful images. Timidity of speech, then a sudden true sentence. Practise the middle volume.
Feet on a floor while the head swims. A notebook by the bed. Charity of explanation. Do not sign what you cannot reread in daylight. A spiritual study with a timetable beats an endless maybe.
This describes Mercury moving through Pisces, not a natal placement. Dignity, combustion, retrograde motion, and aspects to your chart can raise or soften every line. A personal reading names the house from your Moon and lagna, and the dasha that will ripen it.
