Mars is in Cancer as of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST — house 2 from Gemini.
For Gemini Moon or lagna, Mars transiting Cancer occupies the 2nd house from your sign, colouring speech, family resources, and food. Speech, family money, and food come under this transit. Speech can cut. Family money as a battlefield or as a prize of effort. Bold earning. Harsh words at the table cost more than the bill. Food of heat. Spice and speed. The mouth as a tool.
A family fight over stores. Papers, not shouts. Courage in the market. A second income of the hands. Save some of the win. Mars spends the purse on proving a point.
Count this from the natal Moon first (Chandra gochara), then from lagna. Sun-sign horoscopes omit that step. Results ripen when Mars's dasha or a matching transit repeats the combination. Use this as a weekly sketch, then confirm the exact house in your chart.
