Mercury is in Libra as of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST — house 4 from Cancer.
For Cancer Moon or lagna, Mercury transiting Libra occupies the 4th house from your sign, colouring home, mother, property, and inner peace. Home, mother, and inner peace are coloured. You are well educated and can be known for knowledge. Studies succeed when the nest supports them. A good heart that goes out of its way to help. A strong bond with the mother is classically given. Ancestral education: you inherit a library, a standard, a way of talking at home. Respect for the mother and good advice from her when the fourth is kind.
Vehicles, property, and a desk. Peace at home is peace in the mind. Work from a house of books. Do not turn the nest only into a coaching centre. Virtuous popularity. Use it to explain, not to win every domestic debate. Mother's intelligence and your own sit at the same table. Leave room for feeling without a footnote.
Count this from the natal Moon first (Chandra gochara), then from lagna. Sun-sign horoscopes omit that step. Results ripen when Mercury's dasha or a matching transit repeats the combination. Use this as a weekly sketch, then confirm the exact house in your chart.
