As of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST, Mercury is transiting Libra, not Gemini. The essay below is the meaning of this sign placement whenever it is active.
Mercury is transiting Gemini. This gochara mixes the planet's own nature with speech, variety, and a branching mind. This is a strong mercurial seat: wit, trade, many threads. You gather and process information as a native skill. Networks of facts. Scatter is the leak. One spine for the library.
Hands, lungs, and the joy of a second language or a second craft. Media, teaching, commerce, and the neighbourhood of ideas. Honesty with data. Gossip is a cheap Gemini.
This describes Mercury moving through Gemini, not a natal placement. Dignity, combustion, retrograde motion, and aspects to your chart can raise or soften every line. A personal reading names the house from your Moon and lagna, and the dasha that will ripen it.
