As of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST, Mars is transiting Cancer, not Sagittarius. The essay below is the meaning of this sign placement whenever it is active.
Mars is transiting Sagittarius. This gochara mixes the planet's own nature with meaning, travel, and a wide aim. You fight for a belief or a far goal. Blunt speech needs a lid. Travel, teaching, and a missionary heat. Hips and liver tell. Courage on the road. A legal or dharmic contest.
Do not make every disagreement a crusade. Sport, pilgrimage, and a long aim suit this Mars. Faith with muscle is a gift. Faith with contempt is a fire in a library.
This describes Mars moving through Sagittarius, not a natal placement. Dignity, combustion, retrograde motion, and aspects to your chart can raise or soften every line. A personal reading names the house from your Moon and lagna, and the dasha that will ripen it.
