As of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST, Mars is transiting Cancer, not Aries. The essay below is the meaning of this sign placement whenever it is active.
Mars is transiting Aries. This gochara mixes the planet's own nature with heat, initiative, and a dislike of waiting. Drive is direct. Sport and a worthy fight keep the peace. Siblings, tools, and a quick blood are native. Accidents from haste are the caution. You forgive after a contest more easily than after a slight to courage.
Head, blood, and inflammatory heat. Cool the tongue and the engine. Leadership in a crisis. Boredom in a queue. Finish the war you started before you name a new one.
This describes Mars moving through Aries, not a natal placement. Dignity, combustion, retrograde motion, and aspects to your chart can raise or soften every line. A personal reading names the house from your Moon and lagna, and the dasha that will ripen it.
