Mercury is in Libra as of 24 October 2026, 9:30 PM IST — house 7 from Aries.
For Aries Moon or lagna, Mercury transiting Libra occupies the 7th house from your sign, colouring marriage, the public other, and contracts. Partnership, the public other, and contracts are coloured. A partner of words, a public of clients, contracts of meaning. Counsel, law, design, a marketplace of talk. Debate as intimacy. End the thread.
A clever spouse. Share the mic. Travel for meetings. Diplomacy. Do not marry a debate club. Marry a peer who can also be silent with you.
Count this from the natal Moon first (Chandra gochara), then from lagna. Sun-sign horoscopes omit that step. Results ripen when Mercury's dasha or a matching transit repeats the combination. Use this as a weekly sketch, then confirm the exact house in your chart.
